Bumpdate 36 Weeks

It's been a long time since I did one of these and I want to be able to look back at the end of our pregnancy journey, so here we go...

36 weeks, getting closer!

How far along: 36 weeks

Baby Size: A papaya

Weight gain: 18 lbs

Maternity clothes: Pants yes, but I've only bought a few maternity shirts. I've mostly been able to wear a lot of my regular shirts. Side note, I've lasted this whole time with 3 pair of $20 maternity jeans/jeggings from Wal-Mart. They've been great! I just couldn't justify spending a lot on maternity clothes. I didn't need them until I was well over half way into pregnancy plus we don't know that we'll have more children so I didn't want a huge amount if I didn't need them.

Stretch marks: Nope

Sleep: Can't complain. Once I figured out the most comfortable way to use my pregnancy pillow, it's been fine. As long as it's between my knees and I have another pillow to hug and prop the belly up, I'm good to go!

Gender: A sweet baby boy! Bennett Hayes <3

Movement: Oh yeah, lots... And hiccups at least 1-3 times a day. I love it.

Best moment this week:  We had our 36 week ultrasound this week, we loved getting to see him again! He's measuring perfect at about 6 lbs 3 oz and he's in position and ready to go. Now we wait. They also did the group B test, one more blood draw to test my platelets and I got the Dtap shot. All the sticking was worth it to see him ;)

Looking forward to: We're really just relaxing this month while we wait. We got everything done that needed to be completed so the month leading up to him making his arrival would be chill. Relaxing, dates, pedicures, etc.

Food cravings: I would say that cereal, peanut butter, blueberries and iced coffee have been pretty consistent "cravings" for me. I wouldn't really call them cravings, they just sound good to me all the time.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, nothing at all

Labor Signs: Nope, nothing yet...

What I miss: I don't miss anything honestly. It will be kind of cool to be able to move freely again and not have issues breathing (makes me feel like I'm going to have a panic attack sometimes) but it's certainly not been anything to complain about.

Symptoms: Just my growing belly and having to pee all the time, honestly that's it!

Nursery: Done and we just love it. We had so much fun working on it and getting it ready for him.

Belly Button in or out? In but it's getting a little more flat.

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Mood: Great!

We can't wait to meet you little man, when you're ready of course.

  4. You are gorgeous and glowing! Your nursery looks so sweet :) I am glad to hear you are still feeling pretty good all around. I felt terrible the last few weeks and was sooooo ready to not be pregnant anymore lol. It's crazy, I remember feeling her hiccups in my belly for months, several times a day. And then when she got here and I was holding her in my arms and she got the hiccups for the first time outside the womb...it was such a surreal moment. To feel them outside my belly. And see her face. Ahhhh I am just so excited for you!!!!!!!!
