Random Mia fact - I have never been a big breakfast fan. I've always preferred a light breakfast like fruit, yogurt, small bowl of cereal, a piece of toast, etc. Dustin loves going out to breakfast, I hate it. I can't do greasy egg meals. We compromise, but I will only ever order a waffle or pancake. Weird?
This brings me to my favorite breakfast, what I drink pretty much every single morning. I love it! It's delicious and gives me a great boost to start my day. I make one everyday as I'm heading out the door to work and drink it on the way. Measurements and ingredients are all approximate because you can do it however you want with whatever you want. My stuff varies occasionally, you'll see below.
My Go-To Breakfast Smoothie
4-6 oz Green Juice (I usually use Odwalla or Suja)
4-6 oz Almond Milk
4 tablespoons Yogurt (I normally use Greek)
Handful of fresh or frozen berries
Half a banana, fresh or frozen
Tablespoon of Flax
Teaspoon of Chia seed
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder on gym days
Handful of spinach if I have it on hand
Blend and enjoy!
