We've all done it, or do it. Hit snooze one too many times, forget to set the alarm or just fall back asleep. I don't know about you, but I'm someone who doesn't leave for work without my makeup on. Whether it's full coverage or just a little bit, I've put some makeup on.
So I'm sharing what I would do and what products I would reach for if I only had a few minutes to get ready.
Brrr | Splash some cold water on your face to wake your face up and bring a little color to it.
The One Swipers | Use products that are more pigmented. The more pigment the product has, the quicker you get the color payoff you want/need.
Brighten My Day | Pick products that will brighten your face or eyes up and make you look a little more awake.
Products I would grab & why.
Face | Any foundation/bb cream/tinted moisturizer. Something you can quickly apply to even out your complexion. I'm testing & loving the new Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous thanks to Joey.
Stila Custom Color Blush in Sheer Pink is my blush pick. It looks scary but it's not, I promise. 1 quick swipe and your cheeks are perfect and rosy.
Eyes | Quickly apply a neutral shade in the crease to define, then swipe a brightening shade all over the lid. Blend and you're good to go. I use Milani Bella Cappuccino ($3.99!) in the crease and Stila Kitten on my lids.
I line my eyes with one of my Urban Decay 24/7 liners. They are so smooth and glide right on, and those bad boys stay put!
I always do my brows. I use a pencil when I have extra time, or a tinted brow gel if I'm in a hurry. It frames your face and helps you look even more put together. I can't say enough good things about the Benefit Gimme Brow gel.
I also always use mascara, this definitely opens your eyes up! I'm currently using and also loving the L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly mascara.
Lips | When I have less makeup on, I love to do a bright lip. It definitely makes me feel more put together. Who's with me? I'd grab my Covergirl Jumbo Gloss Balm in Berry Twist.
The above would take me 5 minutes or less! If you have an extra minute or 2, I'd suggest a little under eye concealer and maybe a quick highlight to brighten up your face even more.
Don't even have 5 minutes? Just grab your coffee and go, you can hit up Sephora on lunch and just "test" enough of their makeup to get you through your day ;)
What would be your #1 tip or product recommendation for days that time isn't on your side?
