I'm not sure if you've seen any of the Tour Through Blogland posts yet, but they have been circulating around blog world lately. It's no secret, we love getting a glimpse into the lives of our fellow blogger friends. The purpose of this series is to share a little behind the scenes, a look into the homes of the ladies behind the blog. The tour was passed to me from my sweet friend Maegen. Make sure you go check out the peek into her adorable home next, you'll find it here.
For mine, I'll be sharing a few favorite things/spots inside our house. Welcome to our Oklahoma home-
First up, this little piece of furniture and photo collage right when you walk in the front door. I scored the cabinet at Sam's and had to have it. It was exactly what I'd been looking for.
A lot of time is spent in the office. It's nothing glamorous but it's home to my work space and our workout equipment. On days we aren't at the gym, it's nice to still be able to get a quick workout in at home. You know I love my workspace, which recently got a major update. See the full post here.
Another favorite spot, our dining room. First of all, I love the 2 pieces of furniture in here. Our table was a wedding gift from my in-laws and our hutch was a $100 Craigslist find that I just adore. Original plan was to refinish it, maybe someday it'll happen. We spend a lot of time in here. We are a couple that eats at the table every night, discussing our day. I cherish times spent in here with Dustin, friends and family.
Who doesn't love their master bedroom? I think my absolute favorite time of the day is crawling into bed at night, chatting with my husband and dozing off. This girl loves sleep. See the full room and why I love it here.
Last up, lil miss definitely has her spot too… Her little blanket was made by my step mom a few years ago and she spends 90% of her time relaxing on it. As you can see, I'm in her bubble.
There you have it, a glimpse into our home. We bought this home almost 5 1/2 years ago and we've definitely enjoyed it. I'm a homebody, so there's really no place I'd rather be.
I'm passing the tour onto….
Kristal- She is one of my real life besties and I knew she'd be a perfect candidate for a home tour stop. They recently bought their perfect family home, did a ton of work to make it their own and have officially planted their family roots in the perfect little neighborhood. Make sure you stop by her blog next Monday 9/15 to check hers out, I know it'll be a good one!
