Last week I just had the urge to pull out the crock pot and cook a nice hearty meal. It's that fall bug that is getting to us all, you all know what I'm talking about...
We love a good roast meal in our house. I don't know about you, but I am all about super easy recipes with a short ingredient list. If you can leave it in the crock pot all day and come home to a nice cooked meal, it's a win for me! I'm at work all day, I don't want to come home and spend hours in the kitchen. This roast recipe is so easy and is full of flavor!
I know. Gravy from a jar? I promise it's delicious and easy.
You can use whatever seasoning you like/have. I sprinkle generous amounts of all of the above on top of the roast, then again at the end.
2-3 Potatoes, chopped
1 bag of baby carrots
2 jars/cans of beef gravy
Pour a little of the gravy in the bottom of the crock pot. Place your roast in it, sprinkle all of your seasonings on top of the roast. Layer your cut up potatoes and baby carrots around and on top of the roast. Pour the rest of the gravy all over the top. I then add another layer of the seasonings. Pop that lid on and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
It will fall apart and make your taste buds sing!
*You can add an onion or a pack of onion soup mix for even more flavor.
