{Monthly Faves} July Loves.

Welcome back for our 2nd Monthly Faves link up, so happy to be back with Kelli sharing what we were loving in the month of July. I can't wait to read YOURS! Grab a button and link up-

Make Me Up Mia

I don't have a ton of products this month, but yeah, it's 99% beauty this go around. What can I say?

CND Vinylux Polishes- See full review here. Definitely my favorite recent discovery. Not sure what could top this anytime soon... (L to R: Gotcha, Lobster Roll, Pink Bikini

Rusk Dry Finish Texture Spray- I got this in my June Glossybox and have been loving it! Perfect added texture, actually smells good and is workable. As someone who doesn't wash my hair daily, I appreciate the fact that it can used and not have to wash it out at the end of the day.

VS Luminous Lotion in Sheer Love- Ok, any scent would be fine but this is my favorite VS scent hands down. This lotion is my favorite in the summer, I used the heck out of it at the beach. Anytime we're going out, I use this on my arms and legs. It's a very subtle glisten and smells AMAZING. (Blogger fail, it's not available anymore! Other options here)

elf Blush in Twinkle Pink- elf has some great products, their blushes are one of them. Oh, and they're $3! This is such a pretty pink for summer. It does have gold flecks in it but I don't mind. Sometimes you just need a little gold in your day, am I right? Don't worry, you won't be sparkle face.

elf Golden Bronzer- I'm pale, like stupid pale. I do get a hint of color in the summer, but my face does not. I try to keep it from getting sun really. This is a light bronzer for all over, not contouring. Just the right amount of glow for me.

Urban Decay 24/7 Double Ended Eye Pencil in Naked (Zero & Whiskey)- I'm a big fan of the UD liners. I love this duo because it has your 2 standards, brown and black, all in one stick. Great for traveling. Zero is a perfect black and Whiskey is a great reddish brown, makes my green eyes pop.

Swatches below- can you guess which swatch belongs to what??

I've already talked about the two food loves below, but I've been hooked on them all month so they had to be included in here as well.

So easy and full of flavor!

My favorite healthy chicken salad mixture, I talked about it here.

If you follow me on Insta, you saw that Pixie was helping me get this post together over the weekend. She is always all up in it and too cute not to snap pics of. Aren't you all lucky...

What were you loving in July?!

  2. I love the elf blush in tickled pink!! I've had it for ages and used to use it daily but forgot about it! You have such a way of getting me to drag out old products I forgot about!! I've never tried those polishes but I should!! I love a good finishing/texurizing spray ESP if it doesn't make you feel like you need to wash your hair at the end Of the day (sporting 3rd day hair over here).

  23. Ahhhh doggie!!!!! So stinking cute!

I haven't heard of those polishes but now I am intrigued. I am on a polish kick lately.

I was using Elf's bronzer for awhile but switched to Too Faced. More for contouring though. Annnnd it smells like chocolate so that had me sold, I wont lie.

I have been wanting to try the UD liners but wasnt sure it was worth the price. I usually use Loreal Infallible.

  24. I've never heard of that polish, but I'll have to check it out. Where can you find it?
I'm curious about that texture spray as well. I have really fine, wavy hair and on the days I don't wash it I use a dry shampoo, but it always looks so limp. I bet this would help a lot.
I love that Elf products are so affordable. If you don't love it, you aren't out a whole lot of $$.
I made a similar burrito to Shay's a few weeks ago! So good! And your puppy is so cute! What a sweetie pie!
Thanks for hosting again this month!

  29. ELF does have some great blushes....and I saw somewhere that they are coming out with new bronzers!!! I'm also very pale...so I have to use a bit of bronzer too...but just a tad bit, because if I go overboard....I look weird! LOL!
Pixie is too cute for words!

  36. I was so mad when I waited too long to get the Naked palette while they were still doing it with the liner, I would have used it so much more than the brush! I'm on a nail polish ban but you're seriously making me consider breaking my streak with those CND polishes. Can't miss a shout out to Pixie, she is just so darn cute!!
