High Five for Friday.

Happy Friday! Sorry, it's pretty much the only way I know how to start these Friday posts. Who's with me?

I wish I could say that this week has been way better than last, I feel back to normal after vaca, but I don't. Sheesh, I'm still in beach vacation mode over here. I'm still trying to find my motivation for getting back into the swing of life. Help. Me.

It has been a good week though, and I'm looking forward to the weekend for sure. I'm determined to feel back to myself next week, so cheers to that! (I think said that last week too, oops)

One. Over the weekend our Kansas family (my in-laws) came down and we went on a float trip. We had the best time! I absolutely love spending time with all of them, it's always a blast. This was my first time to ever go floating, marked it off my list. I can't wait to do it again!

Two. Anytime I get beauty stuff in the mail, it's a good week. This week I got my July Ipsy bag and I also got some goodies from Glossybox that I can't wait to share!

Three. My Arizona family is here! I haven't seen my cousins since we went out there in July 2010, so too long! I am so excited to spend Saturday at my grandmas house with all of my aunts and cousins. Our family is pretty scattered, so I cherish these times for sure.

Four. Our sweet Pixie celebrated her 8th birthday on Tuesday. Thank you for the sweet Instagram comments, you made her feel special :) She has brought us 7 years of nothing but the most JOY.

Five. In Mexico, I read Melanie Shankle's The Antelope in the Living Room and loved it. Now my friend let me borrow her first book Sparkly Green Earrings. I can't wait to read. No, I'm not a mom yet but I love her humor and I know I'll appreciate it, I will be a mama one day!

If you ladies missed my polish review on Wednesday, make sure and check it out here. A polish that lasts at least a week, is cheaper than Essie and removes easy? Yup, I'm in love. I bought 2 more this week- Pink Bikini and Lobster Roll.

Weekly Polish

Enjoy your weekend- let me know what you'll be up to!

  5. I received my first Ipsy bag this week and I'm so excited to try it all! I've been on the lookout for a new book to read. I have to admit I am guilty of judging a book by the cover and this one looks fabulous and after checking into it, looks like one I will enjoy! Thanks! :) xoxo Krissy @ Sneakers and Sequins

  13. Awe doggie :) So cute!

I have been going back and forth on weather to get Ipsy. I am on the waiting list I believe. Everyone's bag this month looks like stuff I would actually use (minus the tanning oil). Do you think it is worth it?

I need to check out that polish! 7 days? Yes please!

  17. I want to go on a float trip! That sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing about that polish! I am dying to try it! I use the shellac now and I am currently on week THREE so I definitely love it but the soaking it off and getting it reapplied process is a pain in the butt. I am always looking for something new! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
