Bronze Glam.

If you read my post Wednesday, you're familiar with my love for the L'Oreal Infallibles now. I mentioned I'd be bringing you a look using Amber Rush.

These are gorgeous applied and blended out by themselves, but with this look I spent a little extra time (I was headed to a weekend dinner date) and added a darker shade in the crease and outer edge of my lids. What makes it glam? False lashes. They make any look glam, at least they do for me.

Oh, and guess what else? It's all drugstore. High five for saving moolah.

Products Used on Eyes

Bronze Glam Eye Look
Wet n Wild palette Comfort Zone / L'Oreal Infallible Amber Rush / Wet n Wild Trio Walking on Eggshells

How I Applied

Bronze Glam Eye Look

I One I After I applied my 2 favorite eye primers (one/two) I used my finger to pat Amber Rush onto the lid. You can definitely use a flat brush, I like the finish from using my finger better. I patted it all over, up to my crease. Then I took a clean/semi-clean fluffy blending brush and blended out any harsh lines.

I Two I I mixed and applied the above 2 darker shades from the Comfort Zone palette into the crease and outer edge of my lids, using a light hand. I used the blending brush to blend blend blend. You want to remove any harsh lines to where the 2 colors blend right into each other.

I Three I I used the point of the small sponge included in the Walking on Eggshells trio to apply the bottom champagne color on the inner corners of my eyes. Can you tell I love this color? It's one of my all time favorites. Gorgeous used this way, or as an all over shadow. Go buy it, definitely worth the $3!

I Four I I used a flat brush to apply the top cream colored shade from the Walking on Eggshells trio under my eyebrows, highlighting the brow bone.

I finished off with applying the black liquid liner, a light coat of mascara then the lashes. After the lash glue dried, I applied a little more mascara to blend my lashes with the false lashes.

You can see in the close up of my 1 eye, I also lined the outer portion underneath my lashes using the dark shadows from the Comfort Zone palette and a pencil brush.

Do you create any similar eye looks? Do you ever use false lashes?

  13. Very pretty! I do use that liquid liner sometimes, I like it a lot. The only time I wore false lashes was for my sisters wedding and while they were fun, but I'm not sure I'd wear them again. I hope that you have a great day today! :-)
